2021 Elections of Officers and Pioneer Night Tonight!

We are honored to be able to celebrate 100 years with you at our dinner. We hope you will be able to attend this momentous event as we celebrate our past Presidents and install our 100thPresident of the Electrical Association of New Orleans.

It will be held tonight at The NOPSI Hotel, Dryades Ballroom on Tuesday, November 30th beginning with a cocktail hour at 6:00 p.m. We look forward to seeing everyone attend this important function where we will install the new Officers of the Association for our 100th YEAR and enjoy good food and fellowship!

I have attached the registration form for Election of Officers meeting and Pioneer Night to be held at The NOPSI Hotel, Dryades Ballroom on Tuesday, November 30th beginning with a cocktail hour at 6:00 p.m. We look forward to seeing everyone attend this important function where we will install the new Officers of the Association for our 100th YEAR and enjoy good food and fellowship. Registration with food choice is due by November 12th.

Also attached is the Pioneer Awards Night nomination forms for your convenience. Please make sure your nominations are in no later than November 12th. We are continuing our new tradition as we hand out the Clarence Miller Pioneer Award for 40 years and Clarence Miller Service Award for 25 & 35 years.

Be sure to note on your registration sheet what your choice is by circling your dish on the sheet so The NOPSI Hotel can be prepared for your meal. Please also note that we MUST have a registration ON TIME this year since we are sending in dinner choices. I’m very sorry that we will not be able to take any late registrations after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 12th. Unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate you if you do not send in your registration on time.

2021 Calendar of Events

Dear Members,

Last week’s Crawfish Boil was a great success.  Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time.

We are thankful to be out and about and visiting with each other.

EANO Annual Crawfish Boil 2021

Hello Members,

Attached is the registration form for the Crawfish Boil to be held on Thursday, May 27th at Southport Hall. Please get your registration and payment in to me as soon as possible so I can get a head count to Dennis’s Seafood and Southport Hall.

Please make sure you stay within the deadline of May 14th as we want to make sure we have enough crawfish and beer for everyone.

2020 Independent Electrical Contractor (IEC) Convention and Expo

EANO Members,

The Electrical Association of New Orleans (EANO) is glad to be a part of the 2020 Independent Electrical Contractor (IEC) Convention and Expo this coming October, here in New Orleans at the Hilton Riverside.

IEC was founded in 1957 and its mission is to be dedicated to the success and advancement of our members within the independent electrical industry. Information about the expo can be found here, IEC 2020 Expo NOLA. In addition to the Expo hall, there will be speakers, educational sessions, networking opportunities, and more – all right here local!

Still going strong

The Electrical Association of New Orleans was founded in 1921 to establish a close working relationship with electrical contractors in order to better promote electrical safety and the sale of adequate wiring and lighting.  NOPSI provided the initial funding of $1,800 to establish the Association.  Throughout the next 93 years, the Association has grown and expanded; and today there are over 300 members representing architects, engineers, electrical contractors, wholesalers and distributors, manufacturers, and manufacturers agents, energy conservation reps, electrical inspectors and electric utility representatives
